The first month of my senior year of college is done.
Gone.
No more September days in school. Crazy thought.
Although I look forward to the future the unknown is both scary and exciting for me.

The idea of blindly wondering into the “real world” is terrifying.
I know I will always have my parents, backing me up, but after college it’s time to really grow up. No more calling my mother or father just to cry.
It’s time to deal with everything on my own, face the world head on.
Terrifying.

There are so many things about college that I will surly miss. Right now, it’s the football games. Even though we are officially the worst team in the Big 10 conference and perhaps even the D2 schools, there is nothing like waking up, tailgating, and pretending like we’ll have a chance this time around. Those hilarious and memorable times are limited and will surly be missed next fall when instead of day drinking on a Saturday, I will be in the ‘real world’ and doing some sort of adult-ish thing.

Lately, I’ve been getting a lot of questions “What are you going to do after graduation?” “Where are you going to be next year?” etc. the typical college senior pre-graduation questions. Honestly, I still have no idea. Ideally I would love to travel and write, similar to my blog in New Zealand. However, I’m not a dummy, I know jobs like those are far and few in-between. Just patiently awaiting a sign for what I’m meant to do.
There are many roads I would like to travel down, each leading me in a new exciting direction but ultimately what I want from life is love and happiness.
