Graduation Countdown: Six Weeks

Today, I checked my planner to schedule an event that will be taking place and almost had a heart attack
when I realized graduation was a mere six weeks away! Is this real life!?

I feel like I am much too young to graduate. There is still too much I want to accomplish, too much I want to see, too much I want to do, too much I want to study, too much I want to learn, and mostly, too much I want to experience as an undergrad.

As my time as an undergrad at the University of Minnesota rapidly comes to a close I can’t help but become overwhelmed with a bittersweet feeling.  I’m nervous to grow up because I hate feeling like life is passing by. My life is not exactly how I had imagined it would be but as the saying goes, “Life is what happens when you’re busy making plans.” I’m becoming okay with this change and actually am excited to begin this new chapter in life.

Applying for “Big Girl Jobs” as my roommates and I like to refer to them has been quite the adventure in itself. Happily though, it has made me motivated and excited to finish up the semester and see where the world takes me!

As Shakespeare wrote, “All the worlds a stage!” I cannot wait to see where my performance leads.
